Our Journey
Investigate
Meaningful
Policies, histories and
Activists who have
Collaborated
Together to make a positive IMPACT on society
Along this Journey to help Level Up individual schools in Los Angeles, we are also determined to investigate the history of interethnic relationships in Los Angeles, people of color focused policies in Los Angeles, and learn about activists that have come before us who have collaborated across ethnic, SES, religious, and other backgrounds to bring about a positive impact on our society – locally and globally.
Our Journey will take us different places (metaphorically and actually) every month to challenge ourselves to think about the role differences between us play in shaping our thoughts and actions in everyday life. We will also search for meaningful similarities that can bring us together as well. We welcome you to take this journey with us and read, view or experience the same things we do and then begin dialogue with your family, friends, and community members in search of positive growth.
